École Française Internationale de Colombo (EFIC), a French international school in Sri Lanka, was struggling with low enrollment and the need for modern digital systems. • Established active Instagram and Facebook accounts to share school news, events, and activities.

• Implemented a WhatsApp group for parents to facilitate streamlined communication with the school.
• Provided a convenient and efficient way for parents to receive updates and ask questions.

3.Website Development:
• Created a user-friendly website showcasing the school’s curriculum, facilities, and extracurricular activities.
• Optimized the website for search engines to improve visibility and attract new visitors.

The Results

Within just one term of implementing these digital strategies, EFIC experienced a remarkable increase in enrollment. The number of students doubling from 40 to 78, demonstrating the effectiveness of the approach. The school’s enhanced online presence and improved communication channels played a crucial role in attracting new families and building a stronger sense of community.

Conclusion

By incorporating digital platforms such as Google My Business and a user-friendly website, along with consistent branding across leaflets and banners, EFIC successfully increased its enrollment and established itself as a leading International School in Sri Lanka. This case study demonstrates the value of strategic digital engagement and clear communication in reaching new audiences, strengthening community ties, and driving growth within the education sector.
